Look Into My Heart
Look into my heart,
It is convulsing, aching, agony-filled;
Longing for that which can fill the void,
The same left at your departure.
Look into my heart,
Can you not see the flutter of joy?
The delicate wings of butterflies to those of eagles,
Resounding through the heavens.
Here you belong, in my heart to stay:
For you never left, yet were gone a lifetime;
Gaze into my eyes,
In an instant, they contain eternity;
And stricken-be as your grace,
Stealing invaluable time between us.
Gaze into my eyes,
Can you see my galaxies of wonder?
Beholding my own pride in another,
To me, gazing back with the same.
Waver not, o magnified
