What if I stumble
What if I fall
What if I don’t listen to His call
What if I don’t mumble that prayer tonight
So that my soul can soar off like a free kite?
What if I make a mistake
Will He forgive or throw
Me to the Lake?

According to Psalm 103
He always sets me free
Don’t you see?

I bow to my knees
I give Him my all
Even when I stumble and fall

Your palms surround me
Even when I’m numb
Don’t let the world bind me
I want it behind

Time’s grasp tries to find me
But Zion’s triumph will conquer as mighty

What if I stumble
What if I fall
Don’t worry He’ll forgive of them all

Truly repent
Don’t let the sins dent
Shine the light on the Will’s path

What if I stumble
What if I fall
Take care.
He’s there.
Ready and willing to listen to your call.

Inspired by DC TALK's song/lyrics; What If I Stumble.

Our school chapel is doing my poem's title as the next theme. I haven't told anyone yet that I wrote this....I know they might make me share it, but I'm not good with public speaking.

First off, I'd rather hear how it is.

You know, you can ask them if someone else will read it. I don't like reading my poems out loud either.
Great poem! The message applies to everyone because I think everyone wonders the same thing.
